Bob Hower, Co-founder & Partner

Bob is a 18-year VC vet twice named to the Forbes "Midas List," having led investments in startups including 128 Technology (acquired by Juniper,) Acme Packet (Oracle,) Actifio (Google,) AppIQ (HP,) Channel Advisor (ECOM), and [x+1] (Rocket Fuel.) Bob held senior marketing, product management, and sales positions at Lotus Development, Cabot, Cabot and Forbes, General Mills, and Priority Call Management.

Today Bob is on the Boards of Bidtellect, Emissary, and Narrative; serves on the non-profit boards of the Cambridge Community Foundation and Pivot. He remains a GP at Advanced Technology Ventures.

Bob holds a B.A. from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from The Amos Tuck School. He lives in Cambridge with his wife and two children.

Mike Troiano, Partner

Mike is a brand builder, storyteller, and venture capitalist. He most recently served as the CMO of Actifio, turning it into a venture capital "unicorn" eventually acquired by Google.

He spent his early career at top ad agencies, and was named the founding CEO of Ogilvy & Mather Interactive in 1995. He later served as the president of NASDAQ-listed systems integrator Primix, and as General Manager of mobile content pioneer m-Qube.

Mike is a graduate of Cornell and the Harvard Business School, and serves on the boards of Hometap, RippleMatch, Fetcher, Electives, and Napster. He's ranked in the top 1% of the most influential people on Twitter, has been a Top Writer on Marketing, Startups, and Food on Medium, and hosts the Contagious Narrative podcast. He has a wife and 4 kids who love him, and a dog who understands him.

Bill Wiberg, Co-founder & Partner

Bill is an accomplished executive and 20-year venture investor passionate about technical innovation, and helping entrepreneurs win.

Bill’s extensive operating experience culminated in his role as President of Lucent Technology’s $5B Cellular and PCS Wireless Networks division. He held senior positions in product development and marketing at AT&T, Bell Labs, and Lucent.

Bill serves on the Boards of Frame.ai and CloudZero and previously served on the Boards of G20 companies Siemplify (acquired by Google,) Mautic (acquired by Acquia) and Bonobo (Salesforce). He remains a GP at Advanced Technology Ventures.

Bill earned an M.B.A. from Columbia University, an M.S. from Stanford University, and a B.S. from Cornell University.

Elizabeth Benagh, Operations Manager

Elizabeth serves as Operations Manager, with a focus on keeping the investing partners productive and the firm behind the funds running smoothly. She came to G20 from an operations and administrative role at Harvard Law School, where she supported multiple prominent faculty while serving as Business Editor of the American Journal of Law and Equality.

Born and raised in Ireland, Elizabeth attended University College Cork and received a Bachelor’s in International Commerce and French in 2019. She also holds an Associate Degree in European Business Studies from Université de Strasbourg which she completed in 2018.
